Division Descriptions

5 Years old and under

As of January 1, the player must be 3 years old. The player must be 5 or younger to December 31.


Players in this division can expect 1 practice/game on Sunday at Grant Park Diamond #3 (Artificial Surface)

The time for practice will be between 10am - 2pm depending on how many players are registered and how many teams we will have.

  • Spring House League
    • April to June

The 5U program is designed to introduce players' and coaches' to the game of baseball. The program helps teach players the FUNdamentals of baseball:

  • Throwing
  • Catching
  • Hitting
  • Base Running
  • General Knowledge

Equipment Required:

  • Glove
  • Runners / Rubber Cleats
  • Helmet with chin strap or C-Flap

Equipment Provided:

  • Foam Baseball bats
  • Wiffle balls and Softballs
  • Bownets
  • Hitting Tees
  • Practice cones

Important note:

100% parents involvement and participation for this division is a MUST to ensure that all players have success.

7 Years old and younger

As of January 1, the player must be 5 years old. The player must be 7 or younger to December 31.


Players in this division can expect 1-2 practices and 1 game per week at Grant Park Diamond #3 (Artificial Surface)

  • Spring House League
    • April to June

The 7U program is designed for all young baseball players. At this stage players are introduce to:

  • Throwing Techniques
  • Hitting Techniques
  • Athletic Positioning
  • Games & Drills
  • Hitting T is Introduced

Equipment Required:

  • Glove
  • Runners / Rubber Cleats
  • Protective Cup / Jill
  • Helmet with chin strap or C-Flap
  • Bat - 30 inch, 2 5/8 inch max diameter, unlimited length/weight drop – bats with greater than 2 ¼ in. barrel diameter must be marked “USABB or stamped with BPF 1.15”

8 Years old and under

As of January 1, the player must be 7 years old. The player must be 8 or younger to December 31.


Players in this division can expect 1-2 practices and 1 game per week at Grant Park Diamond 

  • Spring House League
    • April to June
  • Summer Travel Team(s)
    • July to August

Experienced players will develop existing skills and higher level competition is introduced.  Single season rep teams and summer travel teams.  New players to baseball are welcome.


Equipment Required:

  • Glove
  • Rubber Cleats
  • Protective Cup / Jill
  • Helmet with chin strap or C-Flap
  • Bat - 30 inch, 2 5/8 inch max diameter, unlimited lenght/weight drop - bats with greater than 2 ¼ in. barrel diameter must be marked “USABB or stamped with BPF 1.15” 

9 Year old and under

As of January 1, the player must be 8 years old. The player must be 9 or younger to December 31.


Players in this division can expect 1-2 practices and 1 game per week at Little Delair park.

    • July to August

Experienced players will develop existing skills. New players to baseball are welcome as this is a introductory level.

Basic Baseball Skills Developed
Player Pitching is Introduced

Equipment Required:

  • Glove
  • Runners / Rubber Cleats
  • Protective Cup / Jill
  • Helmet with chin strap or C-Flap
  • Bat - 30 inch, 2 5/8 inch max diameter, unlimited length/weight drop - bats with greater than 2 ¼ in. barrel diameter must be marked “USABB” or stamped with BPF 1.15”(Bat Performance factor)

11 Years old and under

As of January 1, the player must be 9 years old. The player must be 11 or younger to December 31.


Players in this division can expect 1-2 practices and 1 game per week at Lions park

  • Spring House League
    • April to June
  • Summer Travel Team(s)
    • July to August

Experienced players will develop existing skills and higher level competition is introduced with a summer travel teams.  New players to baseball are welcome.

Equipment Required:

  • Glove
  • Rubber Cleats
  • Protective Cup / Jill
  • Helmet with chin strap or C-Flap
  • Bat - 32 inch, 2 3/4 inch max diameter, unlimited length/weight drop - Must have "USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp OR "USA" Stamp

13 Years old and under

As of January 1, the player must be 11 years old. The player must be 13 or younger to December 31.


Practice/Games at Crossley Park.

  • Spring House League
    • April to June
  • Summer Travel Team(s)
    • July to August
  • Rep AAA & AATeam - Single Season
    • April to August

Experienced players will develop existing skills and higher level competition is introduced.  Single season rep teams and summer travel teams.  New players to baseball are welcome.

  • Rubber Cleats
  • Protective Cup / Jill
  • Helmet with chin strap or C-Flap
  • Bat -32 inch, 2 3/4 inch max diameter, -10 max length/weight drop, marked BPF 1.15” or “USABB”

15 Years old and under

As of January 1, the player must be 13 years old. The player must be 15 or younger to December 31.


Practice/games at McMillan Park

  • Spring House League
    • April to June
  • Summer Travel Team(s)
    • July to August
  • Rep AA Team - Single Season
    • April to August

Players will develop existing skills and higher level competition is available with a single season rep AA team.  New players to baseball are welcome.

  • Glove
  • Metal or Rubber Cleats
  • Protective Cup / Jill
  • Helmet
  • Bat
    • 15U A/AA - 42 inch max lenght, 2 3/4 inch max diameter, max -10 weight to length drop, composite, aluminum or wood combination
    • 15 AAA : -10 max lenght/weight drop, composite, Bamboo or Wood/Composite

18 Years old and under

As of January 1, the player must be 15 years old. The player must be 18 or younger to December 31.


Practice/games at Delair Park Field

  • Spring House League
    • April to June
  • Summer Travel Team(s)
    • July to August

Players will develop existing skills and higher level competition is available with a summer season rep AA team.  New players to baseball are welcome.
